Party Chat/In Game Chat stopped working

Previously with the Xbox App party chat and in game chat was working fine. However this week I've had no luck with it.

I can hear game audio and other people talking just fine in my headset but they cannot hear me. I've triple checked my audio settings and everything is set correctly (as it has been since I started using the Xbox App). My Turtle Beach headset & mic works perfectly with Skype, for example.

I've checked support on this site but all it says is:

"Make sure your audio device for both input (microphone) and output (speakers) is set correctly on your PC. Under Control Panel, select Hardware and Sound, and then select Manage audio devices. You’ll find these settings on both the Playback and Recording tabs. At the present time, this needs to be selected before you begin Game Streaming."

So what happens when input and output for my audio device is set correctly on my PC prior to beginning Game Streaming and yet others cannot hear me talking?
