I set up other account year ago. Put credit card details in to pay for ONE month. Just noticed they took it out every month since. And it's been off line. Cos of the ring of death. How can I get money back!!!

When you purchase Live from Xbox it warns you that it will turn on auto-renewal until you turn it off, so you would have agreed to that when you purchased the month. You would have to call support to have them turn off auto renewal and cancel the subscription.

As far as I know there will be no way to get tour money back because signing on for that free month signed you up for auto-renewal as well.  It doesn't matter that you didn't have an Xbox for that to keep happening.  The important thing that you have to do is get in contact with microsoft support (1-800-4myxbox in the US) and get them to put a stop to that autorenewal or it will continue to take money from your account every month.

I am sorry to say you cannot get your money back . Microsoft has a no refund policy.

I believe you can take actions on your PC to prevent further renewal purchases,

To turn off auto renewal you can follow the direction here.

support.xbox.com/.../cancel-xbox-live-gold-subscription
