Original Xbox Game Issue

I am trying to play  NHL Hitz Pro on my 360 and having some trouble.

It is one of the backward compatible games on the list, and I have been able to play it on my brother's Fat 360 with no issues.  At first it needed an update and then it was able to be played.

On my 360 slim with 250gb HDD it won't play.  It just says:

"This original Xbox game has encountered a problem and can't continue.

X: 5829.0 B:1884.0"

Randomly after successfully playing it on my brothers system,  it did work one time on mine.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Note: My slim plays other backward compatible game such as FIFA 2003 without any problems. I only seem to be having trouble with Hitz.

Note 2: None of these consoles are modified in any way and have their original HDD's.

I have noticed that some original Xbox games give that error and if you try again it will boot normally. Some times it may take more than one attempt to get the game to boot up. That is about the best advice I can give.

Thanks for your feedback.

Just to confirm you need an official Microsoft hard drive as they are hard coded to play originals.
