On Saturday, I attempted to purchase an Xbox live gold account for 12 months. I entered all the correct billing details, clicked confirm purchase, then the window closes and nothing happens.. I waited for a little while as. Thought th Xbox servers were
down. I checked online and it said they were all online. So, I waited another day and then tried again. Still nothing would happen. I've tried checking my account details and the ony membership I had on there was the free Xbox live. Please respond quickly

If you're having trouble purchasing the gold on the website and the console, then the next step would be to try one of two things. Either purchase a prepaid card in a store and redeem it that way, or call support and see if they can help you with the purchase.
