Not able to set up mixer account on Xbox 1

Hi! I deleted my mixer account a while back while it was synced to my xbox. Now I want to stream on mixer again but no matter what I try, it won't let me make a new account again. Any tips?

Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Forums!

Instead of creating the account on the Xbox, try to create it on the website. To start managing your Mixer account info and other settings, go to mixer.com, select Sign up > Microsoft, enter your Microsoft account info, and then select the profile icon in the upper-right corner.

I tried that already as well and it says that the email is already linked to that xbox account.

I've really only tried to set a new account and tried to sync the old one through the website and on the xbox. Just submitted a request through mixer's website though so hopefully they can solve it.
