New X-box 360 'original hard drive' error on downloaded game.

We bought our white X-box 360 at Christmas, and downloaded our first game last night, Burnout 3: Takedown.

It downloaded fine. And I put it on the X-box hard drive and not the USB stick we use for back up.  The game won't load, and it says to play the game I need an Original X-Box Hard Drive.  This is a store bought brand new system, so I'm fairly sure that it has the required hardware.  Is there a backwards compatible issue with the downloaded game?

CoyoteClan3, hey there.

You say you have a USB for back up space? Can you tell me what storage space this hard drive has? I think you may actually be referring to the internal flash memory - which in actual fact is not a hard drive. Either way, can you please let me know :)

Many thanks,

Cloud

White Xbox 360 S models only come with 4GB storage, so you didn't get a hard drive with the console, as CloudStrife 900 stated it is only flash memory.  To play the game you need a 250GB or a 320GB offical Microsoft Xbox branded hard drive.
