NBA gametime app doesn't let me watch live games.

I know this has been "solved" a year ago but I still can't watch games. I linked my pass account, I did all the trouble shooting from a similar forum... And nothing. All keep getting the "NBA server not available, try again or go to Xbox.com/support". I called Xbox support and when they walked me through some trouble shooting my Xbox got the black screen of death ... Now I have two problems.... But I need to watch the games first.

It sounds like we'd first want to focus on that black screen you're getting, as it would be rather difficult to use the NBA Gametime app with that. We have some steps to run through on this Xbox One System update troubleshooting page.

Select the option on the right for "I am experiencing a startup issue" and run through the steps on the black screen. Let us know how it goes so we can start troubleshooting with the Gametime app.

Just to make sure, what all steps were you able to run through for this issue?

It's worth unlinking your account, removing the app, power cycling Xbox One console (hold power button for 10 seconds or until console turns off), re-downloading app, and linking your account back to it. That can often clear up this particular issue.

Yea I ran through these already, and it still gives me this issue. I'm at my wits end. Anything else would be a big help plz and thank you.

I'm experiencing the same issue! There really needs to be an update to this app! I talked with NBA support. I've unlinked my account, rebooted, Uninstalled the app and it's still saying nba server unavailable. Someone plz find a solution to this problem thanks

Had same issues as noted  above,. Sadly same issues on ps4. But wotks great on direct  tv and laptops.. 8/

Ok soo I called NBA support, they gave me the same trouble shooting you did and said they can't help try Xbox support. But I did realize that when my league pass is unlinked I don't get the error message when I click a games box score, but I can't watch it of course.... So it seems to be a problem with linking accounts.

Yes I'm agreeing with u GohanBach. There is a problem with linking the league pass account. Xbox really needs to post this error on the status page because clearly this app isn't working right
