Sorry but it seems that the problem is not the xbox itself. When you are disconnected from xbox live, have you checked if you have internet on your router?

I have had the same problem, and it´s a problem of your internet connection. To solve the problem you have to call your Internet Service Provider and let them known that you are having problems.

As I stated before, it´s more likely that the problem is your internet, not the xbox. It is a problem that happened to e a couple of months ago, and the problem was my internet so I had to call my Internet service provider and I solved the problem with them. It is caused by a low quality internet connection. Use www.speedtest.net/ and give me all the results, specially the jitter value.

If you are currently connected via wireles you may want to try to connect via ether cable and see if it solves your problem

Also, do you have problems with your internet on any pc?

Hey there! There was a service interruption for Xbox LIVE yesterday that could have caused some of this.

But from reading your post it seems like Darklink is right. This sounds to me like poor internet/signal than an issue with the console itself. Can you try running a wired connection from the router to the console? Also, try running a wired connection from the modem to the console (leaving your router out of the equation). See if that gives us any different results.

You can also try a friend's console on your wifi and see if they have the same issues. If so, I would definitely think it's your network setup/internet.

Excellent suggestions above. I will also suggest trying to reset your router. Unplug your router and modem for about a minute and plug them back in.  Also if you are ever wondering the status of xboxlive, here is a link support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-status

.

If every everything says "up and running" then it could be something on your end. But it is always a good habbit to check that link first if you ever have issues with your 360. Because it very well could be xboxlive and not anything to do with you.  Save that link to your favorites. And check that first if you ever have problems.   :)

Another little method which is so simple and works well is make sure nothing is around your router and make sure your 360 console is in the open.

I had the same problems, moved my 360 on top of my table instead of underneath, moved the router into a free area and bingo, it is perfect now :)
