My Son can't play Battlefield 3 on Live--says its because of his age?

Hi everyone!

My son got Battlefield 3 for Christmas, and when he went to go online to play via Live, he is told he is blocked because of his age?  He can't get on FB or Youtube either, because of his age...  He can play COD, MW3, etc... on live, but now can't play Battlefield 3.  What can I do to enable him to be able to play?

He's really bummed... and I'm not sure what to do.

Thanks everyone!

Dawn

as grindstone said if your son is under the age of 13, EA wont let him play on the multiplayer of battlefield 3. If your son is older you need to get in touch with ea and get his date of birth changed on his account on their site. The way to do this is to log on with your son's details on the EA site and go onto his profile and see what his date of birth is.

I think it has to do with his live account age... he cant get on youtube either.  He doesnt have an EA account yet.

unfortunately once a user creates an account with xbox the date of birth is kept on record and to my knowledge the only way to turn the account into an adult account is to turn 18 however you can call xbox support at 1800-4-MY-XBOX and speak with a support representative if you may have for example entered the incorrect birth date ;)
