My games -- "Install" ?

What is this for? I thought I'd be able to install the game on my hard drive and be able to just select it from my games but if you install it and click play it tells you to insert the disc. So again, what's the point?

Installing a game at your HD will make the game run better (sometimes you will get faster loading times reading from the hard drive than the disc) and will save your driver (saves your optical disk drives). Also it avoid heating.

Finally, your disc will get less wear and tear. You still need to put the disc in, but after verifying it, it shouldn't be read again (though that will depend on the game). This should minimize the danger of scratching it if the console gets knocked. There should also be less noise as it doesn't need to keep the optical disk spinning.
