i bought the movie "sherlock holmes" on zune and now i can't watch it, redownload it, or even find it in my purchase history.

I have only one account and it was not a rental because I already know that one is coming. I bought it, I have had it for a couple of years and it just went away one day.

If it isn't showing in your purchase history then you didn't complete the purchase. Does it show any points taken for it? Have you contacted phone support yet?

I did complete the purchase, I bought it a couple years back and bought a new console since. I tried to watch it and it wouldn't play it anymore. I thought the license transfer hadn't worked so I deleted it to download again and it is like I had never purchased it but I know for a fact I did.

Hey there Blanton! You mention that you have purchased a new console, yes? Just wanted to note if you have completed a license transfer to this new console yet.

When checking your purchase history, where exactly did you look? One good place would be here (live.xbox.com/.../History), which should just show your movie purchases and help you find the one you're looking for easier. If you find it on this list, you should be able to redownload it on the console.

If it isn't appearing on that list, can you confirm on https://billing.microsoft.com that you actually were charged for this movie? Check under the Points option, and then pick the proper month from the dropdown menu and see if you can find it. If you can, please send me a little screenshot of it via PM (envelop icon below) so I can verify this.
