MW4: Ghosts...

Talk about beating a dead horse...Why can't they do something fresh, it is getting old...What do you guys think? Yea or Nay? Why are they still using Infinity Ward as a studio name? They are all but gone...I will have to say that BF4 trailer looks amazing but I've never played one.I'm getting tired of the COD series going down the tubes...I like it but it seems to play worse and worse each installment...I wish ACTIVISION would take some of their billions and build an better improved engine not a rehash with few extras each time it's released...Also wish they would stop catering to the youtubers and the minors, but that won't happen with all these Moms and Dads babysitter services they provide...Seems like they enjoy making dumbed down garbage for that target audience...The thing I really miss is the gore WAW had, It was epic. Popping a dude head off was true majic...I loved those bolt action rifles and dont get me started on the M1A1 Carbine, amazing...Well that's my opinion/ rant...

Blah blah blah I also like the gore ah the nostalgia of running around with the double barreled shotgun.

People who make these posts need to step back and realize that the current engine is the reason you can find hundreds of thousands of people online at all times of day.  A drastic change would be the only thing that could possibly ruin the franchise.  If they were really going to produce a whole new game, they should do just that...make another game, on addition to cod.  In response to your thoughts on the studio name...with all due respect, no one cares who makes it.  I think it is just easier to use activision because it became a household name.  (I do appreciate the original iw crew that made cod 4, treyarch for making waw and black ops 2, and the others who pitched in to make mw2/mw3.). People might hate me for saying it but I'd enjoy another ww2 game....waw was a lot of fun.

This technology will surely make COD the greatest game on the planet! /sarcasm

But anyway I buy and play COD for stupid fun. That's about all you can get out of it now a days. If you want strategy or teamwork BF4 looks like i is the way to go.

Me? I'll surely buy the next COD, play it for a few months, complain and then sell it back.

COD and BF both are boring games now. BF4 is just going to be like B3 with an updated engine and a few more add ons to MP. same with every COD to come, it's just a recycling process now.

[/quote]How some people don't see it is beyond me. I mean, It doesn't bug me a lot that the games are kinda similar, moreso that people go nuts for them every time they see a clip... that looks exactly the same as last years clip.

I'll give Battlefield 4 a chance because I really liked Bad Company 2, I would have to say it's the best multiplayer shooter I've ever played. After the big old flop that was Battlefield 3, I'll give the one more chance. But, man, that whole "20 minutes" video for it was just 20 minutes of my life I'll never get back.

As for the next Call of Duty, I likely won't get it unless it has some co-op mode thats new and fun. I doubt it though. Even then, I'll probably wait until it's cheap. Black Ops 2 was the first Call of Duty I've gotten for the multiplayer since Modern Warfare 2 and I wasn't impressed. Maps are so small I can't even stand it.

i can't even bring myself to buy the new Gears, it's all too repetitive and boring. BF4 looks great graphics wise, but the gameplay just doesn't entertain me and the twenty minute trailer made me cry at 7 minute mark because it looked all the same. not to say i don't like BF because i love all the campaigns and BF2 was a great game. even BF3 had it's small moments but overall, it just doesn't have a lot of replay value to me. same with COD, by second prestige i lose interest of the mp, [awful] maps, and the game in general. the campaign takes one run through on veteran and then i only go back for achievements. even zombies bores me now. i bought die rise and i see no fun in it. FPS are sacrificing simplicity (which personally i find fun) for the bigger picture. i have gone back and played COD4 this week, and i saw why i logged over 20 days worth of gaming it. it's whatever though in the end. i'll probably get back into RPG games though like Fallout and Skyrim where i get my money's worth.

BF4 looks amazing graphics wise because the 17 minute trailer was on PC. PC has had great graphics for a long time, I've played both BF and CoD and I have things I like and hate about both, Battlefield has maps that are too big while Black Ops has maps that are too small.

I heard Fallout 4 should be out around November and it's a continuation of 3 which I'm excited for.
