MW3 - No Games Found

Im trying to play Free-for-all and all I get it No Games found.  doesn't matter what game I try it always says that.  Help please.

G'day Teeky! Sorry to hear about the multiplayer problems in Modern Warfare 3, let's get you back in the game.

First off, do any other matchmaking types work for you? Give 'em a shot and see if you're able to find a different match.

If that's no good, let's next take a look at the game's files in your hard drive.

  • Find the folder in Settings > System > Storage > All Devices > Games & Apps
  • Look for any corrupt files (marked with a yellow "!") and delete them. Also delete any Title Update files for the game.
  • Clear the cache, and then restart the console.
  • Launch MW3 to re-install any updates necessary.
  • Set up your multiplayer matchmaking.


Let us know the results, and we'll work from there!

I did what u said above. It worked until I download all my DLC content then it is back to No Games Found again

Hi Freaky, 

I am not able to reproduce this on my end. Does this happen in all playlists, or just free-for-all?

If it is just free-for-all, this will be a unique issue. If it is all playlists, it may be a network issue. What's the make/model of both your router/modem?

I've been having the same problem with MW3 and DLC, "No Games Found," After a while it will say Continue To Wait or 'Play Original Maps," works great if I play original maps. I went through all the steps of deleting corrupt files and clearing the cache. Customer support even walked me through deleting my profile and re installing it. Everything worked fine until I downloaded the Map Packs for DLC, after that it went right back to 'No Games Found." Can anyone help with this please
