Multiple messages saying I purchased Microsoft Points

I keep receiving confirmation messages from MSFT *XBOX LIVE that I purchased 1000 Microsoft Points on the 24th of July. The last message I recieved was today, the 25th of July, still saying that I purchased the points on the 24th. However, I only purchased the points once. Already checked my paypal transaction history, but it only shows the one purchase I actually made. Is this happening to anyone else? Am I being hacked or something, or is it just an issue on Microsoft's end?

hey there juggernaught203,  maybe you have a filter or protocol set up on your mail ?   I'd check the time stamps and email settings.

Same thing is happening to me.  I've received four confirmation emails for the 800 points I bought earlier today.  No duplicate charges (so far) though.

Same thing happened to me. I called xbox support and they only showed what I had purchased

Hey guys! Make sure to check https://billing.microsoft.com to see what charges have been made to your account there as well. This is an issue we're aware of, I haven't seen any reports of multiple charges, only the duplicate emails so you shouldn't have extra charges and your account safety should be intact. :)

if it keeps up check your bank card and and call 1-800-4-MY-XBOX if you notice that it has a different Balance then when you last checked it ive never heard of this happening so id watch your bank account and see if its not an email hick-up remember never give out any information to anyone except to the 1-800-4-MY-XBOX  people when you call them for more help ill keep my eye out on this.

Hey everyone, thanks for your replies so far.

Table 24, as far as I know I don't have any particular protocols or filters. safe for the usual spam/junk filters. It's especially odd because a couple of weeks ago I also purchased points and I only got the email once, as it should be.

I've checked both my paypal and Microsoft Billing again, as you suggested, Miss Kleo. There have been no additional charges on either, safe for the one I actually paid. I'm glad to know that it's an issue you are aware of. I still have no idea what's causing this, though. If this does indeed keep up, i'll contact Support by phone.
