Multiplayer Issue - Bankshot Billiards 2

Even with 2 Xbox Live accounts logged into the game counsel the Bankshot Billiards 2 does not provide an option for a 2nd player to join the game.  If you select Multi-player local from the menu the next screen just shows the first account only.   The only option is to start the game.   It always defaults to 1 player and the CPU as the opponent in a multiplayer local game.   How can two logged in players play each other in this game.  No instructions no user manual, no support!

Hey there DSNRaptor,

Sorry to hear you're having issues playing with your friend.

You should be able to play local multiplayer by:

  • On the Dashboard > Have each player use a different controller to sign into their own account
  • Launch Bankshot Billiards 2
  • Select Local Multiplayer
  • Choose your mode
  • It will show the 1P v CPU match up
  • Have the person using controller 2 press Start
  • That should have them load in as the opponent for the match.

Please let us know how that goes or if you have further support needs.

Thanks for your assistance on this problem.

With a slight modification to your instructions I was able to get two players configured using these steps:

1.) On the Dashboard > Have each player use a different controller to sign into their own account

2.) Person using controller 1 - Launch Bankshot Billiards 2

3.) Person using controller 1 - Select Local Multiplayer

4.) Person using controller 2 - Select the game you want to play from the menu then press the Start button on controller

5.) A screen will appear prompting for additional users to join the game

6.) Person using controller 2 - Highlight the account that has not been added to the game yet and press Start button

7.) A player setup screen will appear to configure preferences - each player selects "A" to place there status into "Waiting" mode.   When the 2nd player makes preference changes and selects "A" the game starts with two players configured.
