I bought minecraft for xbox 360 on my friend's house, because my xbox isn't connected to xbox live, and when i got home to play it, the game was the trial version, how do I turn it to the full version?

You will have to buy the data transfer kit and plug it into your friends Xbox 360 then transfer all of the things you wanted, e.g. Minecraft then insert the data transfer kit into your Xbox 360 then copy Minecraft to your hardrive.

Hope it helped :)

Excuse the mis-information but you MUST do a license transfer. You can read more about it here:

So it seems the trouble is that you downloaded the game onto your friends Xbox Hard drive and then attempted to copy the game itself to a pen drive. You later tried to get the pen drive to allow you to play on your Xbox without Live and this ended up showing as a trial most likely because the game was there but the license wasn't. If you don't have Xbox Live then you'll most likely need a transfer kit but that's assuming your friend will let you transfer the license from his hard drive to yours.

Just out of curiosity, was the game download file saved originally to your pen drive or his Hard drive?

I believe it was downloaded to the hard drive. If I go back there and download it to the pen drive, will it work?

[/quote]Probably not, I'm afraid.  Because you downloaded it onto a console you were not intending to play it on, the content license has attached itself to that console, not yours.

There are ways to transfer contents licenses from one Xbox to another, but that is only when you transfer all downloaded content, not just one item, and you can only do it once every 4 months. http://support.xbox.com/en-AU/xbox-live/marketplace-and-purchasing/download-content

I suggest that you contact Xbox support directly. http://support.xbox.com/contact-us  They may be able to help you work through this, or provide some sort of alternative for you.
