Minecraft Xbox 360 edition has failed to load and cannot continue? Please Help

Every time I try to play Minecraft on my Xbox 360, it tells me this. I don't know what to do, we looked at my disc and it has a ring around the edges that may be a scratch, if so it's from the Xbox could this be what's wrong?

It's most likely that that ring is what's causing it to not be read properly. My friend had his Halo Reach scratched the same way by his xbox.

As far as I know, you can get it fixed at any gaming shop.

Hope that helps!

Well if you haven't already fixed this problem try downloading the game to the Xbox. This will help the disc run better and more smoothly. To keep the ring from happening again on the disc DO NOT move the console when playing because it will laser burn your disc again.

It is most likely the ring, aka a scratch, causing the disk to be unreadable. I recommend that you take it to gamestop (Depending on where you live) and they can fix it for about 15 dollars.

Unfortunately, that is a cluster of data...it will not be fixable...however there is two things you might be able to do to fix it.

1.The toothpaste method.

Get a normal tube of toothpaste with no crystal or any special things added to it then apply a layer of toothpaste to the back of your Xbox 360 disc, spread from left to right DO NOT spread in a circular motion as this may ruin the disc.

Leave the toothpaste for 5 minutes exactly then wash off.

try installing your disc or else just plain playing it.

if that doesn't work then here is the next method

2.The 'return' method.

usually a game you have bought from a store can be returned and renewed for little to no cash

just remember though....you need to have the receipt.

I hope these methods work for you :)

Have a nice day!

Thanks so much for wanting to help out, and cannot wait to see more from you! :D
