Microsoft Sudoku is BROKEN

I have been reading about Sudoku being broken for a long time.  It works and then it does not.  I have updated, uninstalled, reset and every other thing suggested by the many, many people that keep saying the same thing.

The app is broken.  I have uninstalled it because when you click on the app it comes up … circles for a while and then disappears.  It is broken.

My Windows 10 is always up to date and the apps are up to date as well.

Sudoku and Minesweeper do the same things.  No problem with the Live Xbox apps … solitaire and ultimate word games.  No problems at all.  

Apparently, it is NOT we users that are the problem.

There has been an issue with game for a while now. The best place to keep up with this would be the Microsoft casual games community. This community is strictly for all them games and the community there is very helpful.

The link you posted takes one to a page listing all the MS games and a link to request live help. When you click on the link for live help you get pushed to a page that says, "Ooops...." and a message saying to start at the Xbox home page, or check to assure you are using the correct territory (offering you a selection of countries). Nothing avails one to reach the community "or" MS help.

Further, each time Sudoku is launched, a "pop-under" appears in my browser telling me that my PC is infected and offers me only the "OK" button to allow Norton to check my computer. I do not have and never have had Norton installed. I use extreme measures for security and have checked my computer extensively for any issues - there are none. I don't have any viruses or PUP's. Yet, each time I launch Sudoku that pop-under appears.

I simply close that window, but it's obvious Sudoku has been hacked. After more than 20 years using PC's for work, I'd say I can tell if there is a breach with software.

MothproofMink9 … I think we are just wasting our time.  Microsoft Sudoku is a mess and it does not appear that anyone at Microsoft cares about it at all.

I cannot believe that this "game" cannot be "fixed" … and Minecraft is broken as well.  I do not believe that Microsoft cares about these games.  And that is a shame because their ads are going to waste. 

There are already several of these questions ... for some time now.

I replied to a previous question and was told to post another question.

I tried to ask why ... the previous question is LOCKED.

Sudoku does not work.  I am an engineer and a lawyer and I am 73 years old. 

I cannot understand why Sudoku remains BROKEN.

I have tried everything everyone else has tried and NOTHING WORKS.

Update the app ... The Live XBox apps (Solitaire and Ultimate Word Games work just fine.  Sudoku is broken as is Minesweeper.

It is impossible for me to believe that Microsoft cannot fix these games.
