Metal Gear Craft: Making Outer Heaven A Reality

Like I said, each building is MASSIVE and is filled with so many corridors and rooms on each floor. The third building is supposed to have 100 basement levels!

It will be anything but easy.

I figured the inside would be ridiculous, haha. I have never played a metal gear game. I hope they include creative mode in the next update so you don't have to mine all of that material!

I've officially begun constructing Outer Heaven in Minecraft and I've hit my first obstacle.

I realized that my world didn't have a sufficiently large enough desert, so I'm building one. Block by block.

I'm about 25% or so finished with the desert. I've only managed to make it this far already with the help of friends and the duplication glitch.

I'll keep posting updates as Outer Heaven inches (and I do mean inches) to completion.

then again, i guess youd need to until creative mode drops.

I've just "broken ground" on Building One of Outer Heaven. The exterior is nearly finished and now I'll begin work on the very big, very complex interior.

I've just finished the exterior of the first building. Took me forever, mostly due to the fact that I had little to no help.

Now I take on the MUCH harder challenge of doing the interior. I'm gonna need LOTS of iron blocks...

I'd be happy to help if you want. I was actually thinking about doing this too. Was there a certain seed you used to help the natural layout?

I used "Shadow Moses" as my seed. Contrary to my hopes and dreams for it, it's mostly woodland biomes with a few beaches and only a small portion of the map dedicated to snowy/mountainous terrain.

While I appreciate the offer, I work better alone. I'll definitely let you know as soon as it's done, though, so you can check it out.

As for a status update, Outer Heaven is coming along nicely. I'm in the process of completing building one and will "break ground" on building two soon.

The recent removal of the duplication glitch will slow me down a bit, as I have PLENTY of resources for completing building one, but none whatsoever at the moment for building two, three or the massive walled perimeter that goes around the fortress.

I won't stop, though. It'll just take longer than anticipated.
