Mcomm bashing might make its way to BF4 as well as Metro in second DLC possibly

So recently, EA and EB Games Australia showcased a live BF4 Demo exclusive to the Australian media and 100 lucky fans. Footage that was shown was the Angry Sea gameplay and the 17 minute demo from earlier this year. However, we did learn a plethora of information from the Q&A done by David Silverman, the Marketing Director at EA of Battlefield.
Singleplayer:
• Admitted that the BF3 story could have been more.
• Campaign will be more character driven and emotional. Confidence in their skills in building multiplayer led them to spend more time into creating a good singleplayer story.
• NPCs will be more human. Right down to the smallest and simplest details of just watching you walk around etc.
• Cutscenes are acted out in a soundstage like in movies

Specs:
• Oculus Rift support is not planned, but is possible in the future
• PC specs are similar to the specs of BF3. No official specs list has been released.

Multiplayer:
• Battlelog returns on PC and will integrated into the console games
• Commander Mode runs in-game and tablet, however the in-game versions will have extra features such as live video feeds etc.
• Maps can't be totally leveled, however, destruction is going to be more dramatic than BF3's and will be similar to BC2's destruction.
• They are considering bringing back the ability to destroy MCOMs by having structures and buildings fall on them, like BC2
• You can cut the power in the indoor parts of the maps and use the darkness and non functional elevators to your advantage
• Seize of Shanghai, the map shown at the E3 Demo, is a medium size map and new game modes will be shown soon.
• The spokesman said that "You won't be disappointed by the number of maps in the game"
• He also stated that Operation Metro is the most popular map in BF3, thus indirectly confirming that it'll return in the Second **** DLC.

Go that link from battle log forums.  Kinda like the idea of cutting the power and darkness and elevators shut down.  Guess if Metro makes its return.  Us console players get to see 64 players finally.  Also the quote wont be disappointed for the number of the maps in the game?  Hopefully more then 9 on the disc.

Cutting the power sounds awesome, I'd love to douse Metro in complete darkness. ;)

Would be cool to cut the cable before the elevator gets to its floor.  If enemy is a few floors up they shoot through the doors and the cable breaks and players in the elevator crash to the bottom.

Sounds cool. I checked for some new BF4 vids today and saw a few things from some BF YT guy that played BF4. He and everyone that posted on his channel was screaming NERFs already. Thats a huge facepalm. They are already whining about the knife counter saying its too fast and that the C4 "slides" too far when thrown on the ground. Those whining dummies are going to have the game NERFED to heck again. They need to shut up and play the game how and when its shipped. I mean glitches and some stuff, like the DART/MASS shotty, need to be nerfed, but EVERYTHING? Come on people.

Hmmm destroy mcomm by destroying building?  Gonna have a lot of fun with this lol I just hope they put the mcomms in stronger buildings.

I think its gonna make more people tank whor3, but as long as there is only 1 tank on Rush it should be OK.

Knife-counter is fine. A DICE dev already stated that you can only counter when knifed from directly in front.

^^Yeah, its whatever to me, but those BF fanboys were screaming nerf everything already, and then they blamed all the nerfs on BF3 on Craptivision, weird. If they would just shut up and play.

Should get rid of the knife completely, knifing should stay in call of duty where it belongs with all the 13 year olds

[/quote] From what I saw Heavy Armour has been changed. Easier to disable (not full catching on fire disable but reduced movement and offensive capabilities.) Looks interesting.

From the looks of the E3 demo, every time you get hit you get disabled for about 3-4 seconds (pretty much enough time to get hit again). Looks like tankers are going to be a ton less offensive unless they change it quick.
