As long as we can tell the diffrence between ME shooter,ME MMORPG and (the real game)ME RPG full of goodness.

I think it is safe to assume that there will be no multiplayer of any kind in ME3, because it would change the gameplay that makes the trilogy so iconic. However, I have no doubts that there will be future Mass Effect titles that will be more like the Gears titles. Four player Co-op included. And (hopefully) there will be Mass Effect titles that are more like the original, with all of the heavy RPG roots that we all love so much. That is the glory of branching out.

In that case Vader why not just play one of the Gears of War titles?

if there were to be a coop game the pause on power wheel wouldn't be in it (obviously). also considering you don't have contorlable squadmates means you could map powers to the D-pad making a power wheel even less needed.

Well, I may just have to resort to The Powerwheel when I get back on, for I've been stuck on that damned 'Tropical Time Trial' at 'Pinnacle Station' on my current playthrough for the last couple of nights.  The best I've done is 1:23 and the target is 1:20.  I've done it before, but need to do it again for this is going to be my "ultimate saved game" for import.  I want to invite Tali to my "Prized Retreat" after I've saved Earth (maybe before as well) in ME3.  I guess that Powerwheel does help you out of the tight spots...:-)

I view the ability to tactically pause the same way I viewed the mark & execute option in the last Splinter Cell game, basically it is a game-play contrivance to allow the gamer to be as proficient as the character should be.

Sure, I switch weapons once in a while, but to constantly "pause" the action doesn't seem very realistic to me.  Obviously, if you were in the middle of a real battlefield, you wouldn't be able to pause every few seconds and carefully assess every tragectory, you'd have to "think on your feet", and that's how I approach this game.  Yes, I have my squadmates' powers set to automatic, why bring them in the first place if you don't have trust in their abilities.  I'm going to try the other classes eventually, for the achievements, but for me, Shepard IS a soldier...:-)
I know its Shuey posting, because he/she/it always posts in blue
I think you can safely assume that I'm either he or she - unless of course I'm asari .

Well, I'm glad that Schuey19 kinda summed things up for you, he kind of rained on my parade though!  I've always played as a soldier and don't resort to the powerwheel a whole lot for I feel it disrupts the flow a bit
Sorry about that, wasn't my intention .

Shocked that you a) only play as a soldier, and b) don't make use of the power wheel that much. For me, the ability to pause tactically, is what makes up for the deficiencies of ME's shooting mechanics, and even when playing as a soldier I'd still be pulling up the weapon wheel constantly -  do you just stick with the assault rifle and sniper rifle when you play?

Do you have your team's powers set to automatic while playing? I'm always pulling the power wheel up to access them, as even when I play as a Soldier I find it important to have access to everything when I want it.

I found LA Noire to be dull and boring to be honest. Played up until I got promoted to Vice and then couldn't be bothered continuing.
