marketplace game vs physical disc

I'm a very casual gamer and I don't play the xbox much. I wanted to verify my understanding of a marketplace game versus physical disc.

Marketplace game

  • Saved to the xbox hard drive.
  • Even when deleted, it can be downloaded again provided it is the same xbox console.
  • Does not require disc to be inside console.
  • Cannot be sold.
Physical disc
  • Can be played from disc or saved to console. If saved to console, disc must still be in the drive in order to play.
  • Obviously it can be sold.
  • The disc can be used across different xbox consoles.
Is the above correct? The reason I am asking, is because if I buy a game on the marketplace I can't really sell it later.
This means that physical discs are actually $20 cheaper assuming it is a new game as it can be sold after you're done with it.

That's all correct, except for where you say Digital Games can be downloaded provided it's the same console.

That's not quite right. It can be downloaded again provided it's the same account.

And on the first console it gets downloaded to, any user account can play the game. On any other console, the original buyer has to be signed in to Xbox Live to play.
