Live TV Stuttering with HDMI pass through for UK VM and Sky subscribers
I am affected by an issue that appears to also be affecting a number of UK Virgin Media TiVo and Sky+ subscribers. I have setup HDMI passthrough on my Xbox One and can view TV from my VM TiVo. However, I am experiencing some stutter. Not a lot but enough
to be noticeable and annoying. It's most obvious, for example, when a scene pans, or with the BBC News ticker at the bottom of the screen. Audio is in synch. From this link and the referenced link within, it is obvious that this is not an isolated case and
is centred around 50hz - 60hz conversion. http://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Computers-Gaming/Xbox-One-and-HDMI-Passthrough-with-VM-TiVo/td-p/2083706 http://www.avforums.com/threads/xbox-1-50hz-broadcast-hdmi-input-problem.1831965/ If there is a recommended
combination of settings, please advise so that we can apply them. If not, can this be escalated as the use of live TV pass through is considered one of the major selling points of the xbox one and has influenced May in their purchasing decisions. Kind regards.
