Knife

Whats up with the knife attack, I can be right on top of the fool but can't get the cut! BF2 was far better with the knife.

Well if you knife anywhere but behind them they will only take like 12% damage.

I thought this was a thread about the knife being over-powered.  But it's like Zehq said, you've got to e behind the bugger to get the insta-kill animation and his dogtags.

I prefer CoD's knifing system, but at least knifing isn't really a major factor in this game. I spend too much time in vehicles...

COD Knifing is a load of crap. It's physics makes absolutely no sense.

Does that game even have physics? Who cares, the knife is one of the things that makes Call of Duty.

BF3 does have proper physics for the most part.

Yeah, I know. That game =/= this game.

Knife isn't Op, but the hit detection on it can get cranky if there's any lag. Sometimes you have to back up andapproach again if they haven't seen you yet.

It's annoying how you can stab someone right in the chest in BF3 and it's like you've just tickled them a bit >.<

Agreed.  You can get out your knife and slash someone (it's not a stab) and insta-kill them quicker than you can blink.

I prefer the old fashioned rifle butt to the face older games had.
