Issues with Arcade Games after transfer.

Yesterday I got an Xbox Slim (the newest one) to replace my old white one.

Me and my brother share the same xbox but we both have our own xbox live accounts.

We both downloaded our accounts to the new xbox.

Today my brother used a transfer cable to transfer all the game data/saves to the new xbox.

Everything worked like it should have however just recently I came accross an issue with some of my arcade games.

Some arcade games such as Minecraft and UNO say that I need to buy the full game whereas they work perfectly fine on my brothers account. I have never had this issue before on the old console.

This has only happened with a few arcade games (some being ones I purchased and some being ones my brother purchased).

I have tried signing in and out numerous times. I have also tried redownloading my account as well as signing back into the old console and then back into the new one.

Any help to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks :)

I quote Xbox 360 Digital Rights Management:

"After the licenses are transferred, you need to download the content again to update the local licenses. Then the content can be used by other profiles on your console and when you’re not connected to Xbox LIVE. "

So in other words I have to pay microsoft points for games that I already co-own with my brother and have been playing them for more than a year just so I can play them again?

Of your brother originally downloaded the arcade titles on your old Xbox you won't be able to use them on the new Xbox. You get a console license and a GT license. Once you transferred the data to the new console you lost the console license so you can't access any games he bought and vice versa

I did a license transfer to the new console for both me and my brothers profiles and it still says that I have to pay to unlock the full game.

Correction to my earlier post: I can only play games I purchased and same for him.
