Is this game worth getting?

I have AC2, Brotherhood and Revelations. To give you a quick run through of what I liked about them here it is.

Liked AC2 for story and a game that didn't take 4 hours to complete.

Brotherhood for same reasons, and a better combat system

Revelations felt like they invested too much time in the multiplayer, I would rather have a game with a better story and made longer than a multiplayer thats had very little change to Brotherhood. Still liked the story and the change of scenery from Italy but it did feel like "hmm how can we wrap up Ezio's story really quickly? and move onto our next project?"

I wish they would realise they don't HAVE to keep making a new title EVERY year. Its ok Ubisoft, take a break work on it and come back.

asking on a forum if its worth getting his subjective. i myself like the game and have encounted few glitches. others have encounted lots of glitches and don't like it.

i thought the story was good and if you play to do everything you won't be done in 4 hours. the multiplayer i didn't really like this time so have only played it enough to get the achievements for it.

so i would say yes get it and enjoy, and others might say wait for the price to drop.

I prefer this game to the others but I seem to be in the minority.

It depends

I think it's okay. It is not better or worse than the other Assassins creed games, really. I personally like the other ones better simply because there is more roof-running.

Don't expect it to be best of the best, but it's worth getting at some point if you've enjoyed the previous games.

ACIII will definitely feel fresh and new due to the new main character, improved graphics, combat, and the amazing setting.  The roof jumping is a lot more lacking with this game due to the architecture of the period but I believe the tree running more than makes up for it.  This game is a very complete game and though it is not my favorite in the series it is my second behind ACII.

i have never played any of the others but this game is great(in my opinion) there is a whole lot of content and the atmosphere and story line is cool. the combat is fluid and the graphics are top notch!

^ Really ?  I suggest you watch or play the very first A.C. game which is quite a trip if you ask me.

I havnt played ANY of the other assasin games, will this matter much? There's NO carry overs like mass effect series?
