Is Megaman Blaster Needed For Duct Tape Master Achievement

I went through Nightmare mode but ended with Ending C, meaning I won't have the Megaman Blaster unless I play through the entire mode again, which I'm not going to do.  I wonder, however, whether the Megaman Blaster is relevant at all for the Duct Tape Master achievement.  I assume not, but I'm not entirely sure.

The Megaman Blaster is a reward weapon and therefore doesn't count. The easiest way to get the achievement is to go to the weapon blueprints page and make them all in order untill you unlock it. If you can, try avoiding picking up combo weapons you haven't made yourself as this can cause a lot of confusion. I picked up weapons from rooms that were unlocked by the companion app and it really screwed with me. I had every combo weapon in the locker but no achievement. Luckily I managed to randomly make the one I was missing.
