I got charged for an item but it still says i have to pay

At aprox 9:30pm (NZ time GST +12) 21st June 2012 i attempted to purchase/download the Werewolf costume from xbox live avatar marketplace under the tab Vampires and Werewolves, for 240 ms points.

Before purchasing i had 1060 microsoft points, i clicked 'Confirm Download' and after a little while of waiting an error message appeared and i was sent back to the screen with 'Confirm Download' on it. I clicked this again, assuming it would work the second time. The same error message popped up. I can't remember what the error code was but it was something about xbox live issues and to try again later. The Werewolf costume i was attempting to download didn't download and the screen still had 'Confirm Download' on it and a price of 240 ms points, however my current balance had been reduced by 480 points (2 purchases) leaving it at 580, even though both purchases had failed.

I believe i should get a refund for this as i didn't recieve my purchase and was charged for it twice.

Microsoft doesn't give refunds !

But try to call the xbox support as Smwutches said.

Sorry violin, I have had refunds in the past due to errors like this, the OP just needs to phone support and they should be able to help.
