I fail.

So, I was just on Facebook and Xbox Daily News informed me that Minecraft will be coming to the Xbox 360 this winter. So I bought Fortress craft about a month or two ago. FAIL.

I used to have Facebook, but the problem was that most of the people on my list were just people I was cool with... no actual friends I talked to on a usual basis.  So as time went on, these people and I would grow apart and I would wonder why I even had them on there in the first place.  Eventually I just realized that I wasn't really doing anything except waste time on Facebook... so I deleted it.  Then of course, people get mad thinking you kicked them and then they confront you about it.  *sigh*

I'm not even talking about that, I mean talking to someone on a phone must not be personal enough for you. Why do you even have xbox live? Because you know whats even better? Having real friends. Because you can't play with other people on xbox live because it's not personal enough. If you have xbox live and use all it's features and you think that facebook is bad, that's pretty hypocritical.

Also, I communicate with my relatives in different states on Facebook.

What's even better is actually having real friends.  You know, the people you meet through real life socialising?  If this upsets you in any way or form, then please take what i've written with a pinch of salt, it's only intended to offend you if you don't actually care what some faceless random says to you on the internets.
Each and every person on my Facebook friends list is a real friend. You know, people I have met through real life socializing? Some old friends from highschool, current co-workers, friends of friends I've hung out with, hot girls I've met here and there. Not to mention I get up to date information on games from all my favorite news sources all in the same spot.

I get that some people are all gung ho about not conforming to society. But Facebook didn't get to be the largest website on the planet as a fluke. If used correctly, it can be very useful

The Social Network is an awesome movie.  I don't care if you like Facebook or not.

Im not a facebook user, but the wife and kids are always on it.  This led me to the film. Very, very good.

Was actually having a discussion at work about this - how the vast majority of people now consider a cell phone/mobile an essential part of their daily life.  Most  people nowadays become delirious if they're without their mobile for 5 mins.

Well look at it this way. You only paid $3 for FortressCraft. At least you didn't invest $15-20 into it.

I don't have a phone :(

Are you one of those people who doesn't have a phone? Are smoke signals not personal enough for you? lol
Well of course Facebook is going to give you false information if you choose to believe the XBOX L337 NEWS 4 THA KEWL!!1! Facebook is also great if you have, you know, friends.
