I didnt ask for those wolves to eat me...

Seriously, I didnt ask for those **** wolves or those bully bears to try and eat me, why should i have to skin them? Annoying, im just trying to collect feathers.

P.S.  while typing this I literally got the Eye Witness achievement.  Im hiding in a tree.

Skin means money.

Was just the in thing in those days.

you cant beat a nice beaver pelt hat

...........But they will eat you none the less

Travel in the trees, you are safe there.

takes a few seconds to skin each animal

Did anyone else get annoyed with the constant 'nia:wen'  when skinning animals, kinda reminded me of the "Hey listen!' from  Zelda : Ocariana of time

What's the big deal about skinning animals anyway ?

dont know, good income and it helps for the crafting achievement later

Skinning animals was one of the biggest trades during the time the game's story takes place.

am i missing something here?

i got attached by a pack of wolves last night (in AC3 natch...not in the high street)...because i was just wandering - i mean isn't that pretty realistic? I've never been to Boston, and certainly not in 1776 (or whenever this is) but i would imagine wolves wouldn't wait to be asked to attack you.

and you don't "have" to skin them...you can leave them intact on the floor if you can't be bothered and don't need the money.

again - or maybe I'm missing something...
