I can't purchase games on demand due to region error

Account region: Sweden
Physical region Denmark (mostly, but I use it in sweden on weekends and during vacation, neither should be a problem the way I see it since they're both LIVE-regions)
ISP: 3 Denmark (www.3.dk)
Content you are trying to download: Fable 3

When I try to purchase it, I simply get an error-message saying: "This item isn't available from your current location.", but if this was true then why is it showing up on the swedish  version of xbox.com here: http://www.xbox.com/sv-SE/ ?

this is a valid error

your account region MUST reflect your physical region when you try to purchase region locked dlc

meaning since sweden is only a temporary region

i suggest you create a new account to reflect your actual region

as dlc is share accross profiles

however since denmark is your more permante residence i suggest you keep the denmark account active to avoid future issues

sweden would have to be kept for past dlc



If your account region no longer matches your physical location and your country is not one of the newly added regions, you would have to create a new account to reflect your location. If you don’t currently live in a LIVE supported region then you may continue to experience issues with purchasing or downloading from the marketplace.
