I can't purchase points

I can't purchase microsoft points. I continue to get a status code of   80169D94 .   I contacted xbox support by calling 800-4my-xbox and was told that the status showed I received a permanent bann on the xbox live. I am still able to access xbox live on the account. I only can not purchase points. I also never received an email as to why the account was banned in the first place. I have double checked the email on account and the information that is on the account, and still there is no email.

Please help.

The code means your account is locked from making purchases. The account itself is not banned.

Go to https://billing.microsoft.com and update all of your information. Then call support and talk to billing to have them work with you to unlock the account.
