I can't buy xbox gold

When I try to buy xbox live gold on my xbox it gives me the message, "sorry, there's an issue with your account. To fix the problem, visit https://account.live.com or choose a different payment method." On xbox.com i get this "This action cannot be performed at this time. Please try again later. For more information, go to http://www.xbox.com/support." 

No money is owed and the details are correct.

If this is your first time trying, I would suggest waiting a day or two. If your problem still persists, i would suggest calling xbox support.

you can try upgrading to gold from the website and see if that resolves your issue, if not contact support to see if there is an issue with the account or payment type.

I would reccommend you just got to a local Retail store and buy an Xbox Live Gold Membership card with the preferred

amount of months.
