I can't buy anything. The status code isn't anywhere to beound on the site.

So I have been trying to buy points so I can get a DLC, and the card I had been using previously had expired. So I had to change the expiration date and the security code on the back. However once I change these things, a message comes up saying "Xbox cant retrieve information from xbox Live." The status code is 80190194. I had looked this code up several times, and found nothing. Is this just a temporary thing that happens, or something recent?

Greetings, Typical Bromide! When you say you were typing the wrong code does that mean you were typing the wrong error code? In other words, is the error code something other than 80190194? If so, can you provide the correct error code for me? Thanks!
 

As a first step let's have you log on to https://billing.microsoft.com and make sure everything is correctly configured with your payment option according to this sticky: forums.xbox.com/.../153161.aspx. If there are any discrepancies you may have trouble making purchases.

Hi, since Typical Bromide hasn't answered I'd just like to say that this changing my details on the website instead of the console worked for me so thanks for that solution :D
