How to get your money/points back after buying Worms?

Hi all,

can any one give me the relevant email address for complaints and refunds? I purchased the game Worms Revolutions and am suffering the same date bug as every one else. I know there's a sort of way around it but at the end of the day the game is not fit for purpose and breaches the Sale's of Goods Act. Shame on Xbox and Team 17 for the very poor way they have dealt with this problem.

I'm sorry to hear that. Like Intenzitey said though you cannot get a refund. Your best option would just be to wait and hope that the developers fix the bug you're having.

As far as i Can tell that game is not a third party game and so if xbox put it on here and it is a faulty buggy game, contact customer support and talk to them, and if they dont then just go to court, i would if i paid money for a game and they refuse to refund me the money.

it does say also in section 6.9 that if they are ordered too by law, so sue them, thats not against the terms and conditions and if you sue make sure to add the lawyer and court cost too into that.

so if you win that little game cost them a lot more than just a little refund.

I dont have a life lol, so i would do it.

FYI worms is not a first party game

ATARI is not a first party publisher as the game is also published on multiple platforms including competitors

worms is an 3rd party game

 considering how old the game is i doubt the goods of sale apply since it is over 3years old beyond the reasonable grounds clause

The Xbox 360 console bug

On December 1, 2012, a major bug was discovered, corrupting all Xbox 360° players' saved games and preventing them from playing the game. The bug is currently being discussed on the developer's forums, though no official statement has been made yet. The bug is caused since the console's game date struck December. A temporary solution is to disconnect the console from the internet and to set the date to any date before December 1. The game will run as long as the console cannot automatically sync the date and time.

If you live in the UK and there is genuinely something wrong with the game I would consider contacting trading standards. My friend purchased the Euro 2012 DLC for Fifa 12 which messed his game up and could not play it. He contacted Trading Standards, they investigated it and he got a full refund.

This may only be of use if you live in the UK so feel free to ignore this if you live elsewhere.

Hi, I'm sorry but just like everyone else said there's not refunds for purchased items however you can try contacting Team 17 for help & support at  (*** Email address is removed for privacy *** )  they might be able to launch an update to stop the bugs.

Hey, mate. Sorry to say but there is no way to get a refund for the game on Microsoft's behalf. But if you try and contact Team17's support at *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, something may happen. Hope I helped. - T0X1C

Have you been able to play it at all?  Did you download it and get a non-functioning game from the start?  If so, then you might be able to get your MS Points refunded.  Open up a chat session with support, request a refund because the game doesn't work (assuming you have not been able to play it at all), and you should get escalated.  You'll need to be escalated to level/tier 3, which means they'll review it, revoke your license for the game (so you'll have to delete it from your console), and then issue a refund of your points in about 3 days -- notifying you by email.

This is what I did since it never worked for me, and they refunded my points.  If you've been playing it for a while and the date bug hit you, then you might not get a refund of your Points.
