How the hell can a game be so poorly moderated??

Come on now this is just a little bit ridiculous >.>

The only Call of Duty game I really enjoy is World at War. Online at least, but literally  its impossible to find an unmodded lobby now! I used to play it all the time and would get maybe 1 modded lobby every 20 to 30 games MAYBE.

I tried today and all 6 lobbys in a row I joined had at least one person modding hacking or had the stupid URL spam in the left corner.. It used to be a good game, I dont understand how a developer can spend all the time and money on creating a game just to let it go to waste like this?

Because they don't care after they have your money. Best to stay away from all call of duty games.

For the most part I do if I feel the need to play multiplayer I stick to Halo or Battlefield but I mean damn, what happened? How can that many people be modding and not get caught.

It is unfortunately the way of things with COD at the moment. Activision need to get a grip.

I feel your pain, COD4 is the same way-  is it up to the developer or xbox live to police the games and boot the hackers?

Everytime I play ground war on WaW there are always modded but I played team deathmatch and it was perfectly fine.

They'd much rather focus on creating the next game, as well as new DLC. They're completely profit driven, so they don't give a *** if their game is broken/hacked/etc.

Bluestaraero :) Summed it up perfectly.

Even Nazi Zombies have modded lobbys what kinda crap is that LOL.

Call of Duty 4 is just as bad, it didnt start getting this bad until here recently. I think that if they dont plan to do anything about it they should just shut the servers down.

Honestly, I think they should just shut off online for everything below Blackops and get the developers to fix it. But in reality that wont happen.

its no good moaning on here about it, and no-one should have to "avoid cod" when they've spent money on the games and dlc. we should all email activision support and tell um we're not going to buy any more cod games until they can show that they are at least trying fix the others. i doubt it would do any good, but if enough people emailed, ya never know.
