help with second licence transfer

i borrowed a console from a friend as a temporary after mine stopped working, and i transfered my licences to that console. i have now bought a new slim console and need to transfer the licences to it, but it won't let me until 02/01/2012 and i can't wait until then. is there any way i can do it now?

Support will only transfer the licenses under exceptional circumstances. This would not seem to qualify.

Actually voteDC I think support will do it for him.  I had an issue with my downloads.  I had bought a game for my son and put it on his console.  A couple of months later my wife wanted to play it but when I downloaded it to my console, she could not access it unless I was online.  I gave support a call and explained the situation to them and they processed the transfer for me (I had already done a transfer to my new console 4 months prior).

When the 360S consoles were released last year, Support was helping people with "early" transfer if it was because of a console purchase... though the waiting period was 1 year then, not 4 months like it is now. It's certainly worth a call to ask.

According to MisterGwyther, Phone Support is not a way to get around the transfer time limit. They will do it but only under exceptional circumstances.

When did you phone up about this? As the time limit is now four months anyway.

i have just phoned support and they will do a manual transfer. it will take 1-5 days to do. thanks everyone
