Have to unplug xbox every day to get TV working again. Anyone Else?

At some point every day I have to unplug the power cord from the back of my Xbox One to get the TV function to start working again. When it stops working the picture goes completely away and just says the TV app took longer than expected to start or something along those lines. Once I unplug it and plug it back in it works perfectly. Anyone else have this issue??

Just plugged mine back in... Had this issue since I started using it. Hopefully, we'll have some fixes start rolling out fairly soon.

almost everyone is having the issues who are using TV through it.  best things for workarounds are turn off the instant on(so it will fully shut down) or you will have to hold the front button for 8 seconds every now and then to reset the OS.  that's it for a fix right now.  MS is aware and someday there will be a patch....

Thanks Stumb1in.  This seems to have intermittently resolved my issue.  It's weird that it was fine for a week (even with the Instant On on), but thank you for being so concise.

Thanks for the feedback. Didn't realize the 8 seconds trick. Far easier than unplugging it. Thanks!

Add me to the list of users with this issue. It's hard to sell the wife on the setup if it doesn't work all the time.

Happened to me this morning.  I was gone and my wife couldn't get the news on while she got ready for work today.  She is horrible with tech and informed me that Directv would no longer be going through the X1 because of this (even if it gets fixed).  It's a shame because it was pretty slick.

So, the work around is to do the reset by holding a finger over the power on switch to turn it off. Once it comes back on it will work again. This will likely a long term issue Im guessing because of the numerous Xbox One issues that currently exist without workarounds.
