Halo 4 producing headaches?

I don't know if anyone else is having this issue, but I've been getting some vicious headaches after playing Halo 4 for longer than an hour. I don't know if its the lighting in the game, or something else. My TV is 1080p native resolution. So, it could be that. But, no other game has that effect on me, and I have a very extensive library of Xbox games. Most of them I play for hours at a time.

The first time it happened I didn't think anything of it other than just a normal thing. But, I'm on my 4th headache since playing this game. I'm just wondering if it's just a personal health issue I should see a doctor about, or if others are experiencing the same thing which is the reason for this post.

I would check with a Doctor maybe... Halo 4 does have very strong textures but getting headaches from picture means your eyes can't take it.

Yeah... Halo 4 gave me a headache.... fighting 2 Promethean Knights that are holding Binary Rifles will do that.

.

But seriously.. I haven't experienced any. You best bet would be to do what Undeadfire Zero suggested and go see a Doc and tell him whats up.

lol Promethean Knights are tough. But yeah, I think Ill go get myself checked out. Thanks for the responses by the way. Great game. : )

Do you wear glasses or contacts?  Or should you?  Dont know why that would be a Halo 4 only issue but just a thought.  Ive had headache/motion sickness issues with a few games and have always done research...like you're doing now....to figure out why in each case.  Turok2 on the N64...the orange box...the darkness.  Havent had issues with halo 4 though.

yeah the game has lighting issues ... i close my eyes and see blinking lights after playing halo 4... I think they do this on purpose.

I've gotten a couple headaches from it I think.  I turned my brightness down to 1 and it seems to have worked so far

Portal 2 usually gives me a headache if I play it for a couple hours, haven't experienced any with Halo 4 yet though.

You're facepalming too hard when you die. Stop being bad at the game. ;)

No headaches from Halo 4, but Borderlands 2 did give me some problems...

Halo 4 has actually started to make me nauseated when I play it for an extended period of time. I do think it has something to do with the new lighting and whatnot. I also experienced the same problem when I first purchased my notebook from Apple. But after a few weeks I think my body became acclimated to the computers retina display. So maybe this is the same concept with halo4. More specifically though my symptoms are the same as motion sickness. I literally feel like I'm about to throw up after a couple hours of gameplay. lol  Glad to hear Im not the only one experiencing adverse side affects though.
