GTAIV:EFLC Steam Key Invald

Basically I purchased this game on Steam during the Steam Summer Sales and the key I was given is invalid. I have not tried GTAIV alone, mostly because I have gone over my bandwidth for this month but as I understand it this is the only game effected.

So I am in need of a replacement key and you are my only hope. Can someone please help?

Umh actually the Steam Support Team is the one who had to give you a valid Key, cause they can check if is actually an invalid code, and give you another one.

Xbox LIVE and Windows LIVE is not related to any kind of codes provided by Steam, cause their system and our system are complete different.

But as they said, that "we" had to give you a new code, then use the Contact Us area, to speak with the official Support Team, so go to this link and use the suggestion of the phone call or the chat with the Microsoft Support: support.xbox.com/.../contact-us

If you read that link you posted, you would notice that they are working on the issue and that you need to contact Games for Windows Live Support. Look here for the proper number: http://forums.xbox.com/gfw/technical_support/f/253/t/8569.aspx or follow the the link in the link that you posted.

Unforunately, there is nothing else that anybody can do here (or any of the other xbox.com forums) for you as this is not an official Games for Windows Live support site. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

After contacting support they seem to have resolved the issue. Or at least they put me in line for a working key. Said I'll be getting an email when it's fixed. And if they need more info they'll call. So hopefully it won't take too much longer.
