Graphic card apparently supported - can't use DVR to record

I have an AMD Radeon HD 7670M, so why can't I record anything using the DVR? From the Xbox website:

  • AMD: AMD Radeon HD 7000 series, HD 7000M series, HD 8000 series, HD 8000M series, R9 series, and R7 series.

I don't understand why. I have the latest version of the Xbox App (7.7.29027.00000), the latest updates from Windows and the latest drivers for the graphics card. I can stream okay in high quality. It's pretty frustrating when it says my card is supported when it doesn't even work. Is there something I'm missing? Is this a bug?

Is there a message that appears on screen or does it just not do anything?

Are you able to open the game bar by pressing Windows Key + G, then hitting the red button?

Sorry, should have said. In the settings under Game DVR it says "This PC is unable to record clips" and when I open the game bar, the record button is grey and when I click it, it says "Sorry, this PC does not meet the hardware requirements for recording clips." I doubt it's my laptop seeing as I have an i7 3630QM, 6GB RAM and the graphic card in my OP.

I have 2 PCs that have exact same hardware as each other, including  video card ( ASUS ATI Radeon R7 240 ).  Both have Windows 10 Pro (64 bit).  BOTH have the same problem (DVR says "hardware is not supported") yet it SHOWS ( Radeon R7 video cards ARE supported).  There have been 2 updates to XBox app since release date. When will this be FIXED ???

Hey guys I have had the same problem with a GeForce card, but found that updating my graphics driver fixed the issue.

It looks like DefunkedBlues may have tried this already though given the last comment....sorry if it's not helpful!
