hey there!! I just linked my Microsoft account to Minecraft on my ps4 and I was just wondering about the gamertag. it automatically created a gamertag that I can't appear to change and it ignored my PSN. I'm just wondering if there's a way I can change
it. I tried looking it up but I only got answers concerning Xbox. thanks for reading!
Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that you are interested in changing the gamertag that was assigned to your Microsoft account. Once an Xbox profile is created on a Microsoft account, the account is automatically assigned a gamertag.
Each account gets one free gamertag change. We have a support article which explains how to
change your account's gamertag. The article provides steps on how to change your gamertag through the Xbox website. Does an error message or error code appear when you attempt to change your gamertag online? Be sure to let us know the results!
