there are enough gamerscore cheats as it is now ,when GS means nothing.
can you imagine how many there would be if they could spend those points?
And MS resets/bans plenty of GS modders.
I don't see potential cheaters as a barrier to some rewards program for gamerscore; attempting to redeem points for GS should ostensibly follow a check of the claimants achievements to determine the legitimancy of the points in question. Modders would (like
now) be reset/banned then, too.

And there are a lot they don`t catch too.
there are at least 3 AMBASSADORS on this forum that have modded gamerscores.
[/quote]agreed and that's about the bare minimum
People mod and cheat now just for points that mean squat. If those points had monetary value it would be incredible the lengths people would go to. @black ace I don't think it's the fact that Microsoft has no interest in a rewarding program hence XBOX Live
Rewards. But having your gamer score as currency just would not work out.
If they did this you can kiss boosting goodbye. No company would intentionally encourage farming for real money. MS currently openly supports boosting because it keeps people playing/buying and it doesn't hurt them at all.
