Game Update Data Corrupt, Brink

The disc is my 2nd brand new copy of Brink., with which many people seem to be  having problems. I can't play for more than 5-10 min. with out experiencing a freeze

or error message. Each time I install the update which is suppose to improve the game performance I end up getting a corrupt data download message which

says to re-download the update. Wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Perhaps I'm having a combo of hardware and software problems. But I'll giving

be giving the producers and developers of this game time to further sort some problems out. I havn't tried removing the hard drive yet but have tried playing w/o the

download and clearing cache and all save data multiple times.

have you contacted gamestop & told them about the corrupt dlc thay gave you

I've got it sorted now. even though the downloaded content was deleted it was causing a prob. I went to download history and re downloaded the Doom pack and corruption messages have stopped. Also appears disc read errors have ceased but still have freeze problems. Did get a disc replacement and informed Gamestop. Thanks Nutter.
