Game only freezes when using my profile

I've been having a problem with my copy of Dead Island. It worked for a while, but suddenly started freezing after the opening cinematic. I've tried it with two different consoles and two different copies of the game, both brand new, and it freezes on both. However, it will only freeze when I'm signed into my Gamertag. If I go in on another profile or with none, it will work fine. I've even tried getting the game started with another profile, then signing into mine and as soon as mine's signed in the system freezes. I haven't encountered this problem with any other game but Dead Island, but it happens consistently on both copies. I've tried installing the game, clearing my system cache, deleting corrupt files (there were none), deleting updates from the console, unplugging everything, removing the hard drive, everything, but it still freezes everytime. A support person told me it's because my NAT type is Moderate, although it still freezes even when I'm offline. Does anyone have any idea what I can do to fix this?

Im having the same issues with all my games.  They freeze when I use my xbox live profile but do not freeze if I use a different profile

Im having the same problem with Assassin's Creed Revelations. Every time i hit start at the main menu it freezes. But it does work with a another profile.

I've tried both of your suggestions and I can't get it to work. Xbox Support only tells me to contact Deep Silver because it only happens on Dead Island, and Deep Silver tells me it's Microsoft's problem because the profile seems to be what's causing the issue. I think we've hit a brick wall on this thing.

When you said that "No, it still freezes". Did you actually try to remove your hard drive and use just a USB Flash Drive with your profile on it and nothing else? If not, please I urge you try this.

If you can try connecting your xbox to the router with a wire (that is if you are not already doing so).  Then try the game again.  If it crashes, then try connecting straight to your modem instead, and see if that fixes the problem.

I just did an Xbox Live connection test and it said my NAT type is moderate, and I never noticed this before but it said Service Alert next to Accounts, and that's the only thing that had an alert. So is the NAT type what's causing my issue?

No, it still freezes. It freezes before I reach the main menu so I don't even get a chance to start a new game.

Do you have the ability to remove your hard drive from your XBOX 360 and use a USB Flash Drive? If so, please try to download just your profile and then start the game (do not transfer any sort of game save files) and see if the game still freezes with just your profile on the USB Flash Drive while starting a new game.
