game freezes

dead island and deadisland riptide will not play on my profile but will play on somone elses  i went and got a new gamertag thinking it would fix the problem i cleared mt cache deleted the game and the saves off the harddrive moved my profile to my flashdrive still nothing deleted my profile the redonloaded it nothing      as soon as the dead island name appears on the screen i hit start then it says please wait then this biohazzard symbol appears then it freezes in that exact same spot  for both games i dont know what else to do                any new ideas would be great

Let's start with the troubleshooting steps below:

  • Delete the Game from your storage device
  • Delete your Marketplace cache
    1. On your console, go to settings, and then select System.
    2. Select Storage, and then select your primary storage device.
    3. Select System Items.
    4. Select Marketplace System Data.
    5. Select Delete.
    6. Restart your console.
    7. Try to buy or download the item again.
  • Clear your System Cache - 3 times
  • Turn off your console
  • Turn on your console
  • Download the game


Also, you may want to try downloading to a different storage device like a USB drive.

tried steps 1-7 stilled did not work the only option i have is to cancell my account and start from scratch

Please be sure to try all of the steps that Mister Ohnaka offers. Deleting the marketplace cache is helpful but it works even better when done along with the rest.
