Free DLC coming to GTA V

With a lot of hate and disgruntled customers showing a lack of affection towards the announcement of micro-transactions, I thought this is a good time to share some awesome news with anyone that may have missed this.

The Content Creator: The Content Creator will launch with tools to tailor and publish your own Deathmatches & Races.

The Beach Bum Pack: Featuring 4 new amazing beach fun vehicles, over 300 new items of incredible down tempo leisure wear and 2 new but not remotely relaxing weapons.

Capture the Flag: GTA Online's take on the classic CTF mode including the ability to make your own using The Content Creator.

Heists: This update will introduce full-on cooperative Heist missions that will require careful planning, teamwork and sharp execution - along with the Heist Planning Board for your apartment.

"Just to be clear, all of these updates will be free," the post adds. "We'll have more info on this and much more additional content as our plans develop through the launch period, and as we get feedback from you. Please stay tuned for further info and updates. And remember - we need your help to make this experience all it can be."

So it's not all bad and for once a game developer is rewarding us with something awesome. I for one cannot wait!

Free? Pretty awesome. Go Rockstar.

Ok I have two pennies. 1. This isnt EA bro its Rockstar. EA sucks and will tax on anything that they can. Rockstar cares about the fans where EA only cares about the money. Free is music to my ears. Mass Effect 3 provided free DLC for the multiplayer for 1 year. If you want a game to last you give free stuff. I think Rockstar wants GTA online to last. 2. All updates for all games are free. So Free updates is a redundant comment. 3. ------------------------------------------------------------------------

"They also say GTA Online is included free with GTA V. Even though its printed on the box that its PART of GTA V.They're trolling they're fans. I'll keep that in mind if they try to squeeze any more money out of my pockets".--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This comment bothers me. Its states that it IS part of GTA 5. So how are they going to get money from you if its included in the game? If you go in the menu it has an online section that says that this will be open soon. Im sure that there will be add on's to GTAO im not sure if they will charge though. It would give some the unfair advantage. If they are anything like ME3 they will use the micro transactions to pay for the free dlc that they will release for the online mode.

It is part of GTA V... I don't know what you are trying to get at?? The only thing that has been confirmed you need to pay for is if you want so called "Cash Cards" So you can have a bunch of virtual money in advance. Other than that every update on the GTA online will be free.

They should do a pack that gives you all the weapons from that game Michaels son plays.. I would totally run around as Trevor with a stick that has crap on the end of it. Rofl.

They've said all updates on GTA Online will be free...

The micro-transactions are only for lazy people who don't want to rob convenient stores and complete the missions for their $$. Rockstar said that micro-transactions aren't necessary for any item, it just gets you those items faster than actually playing the game to work for them.  As far as the "add-ons" that the OP was referring to, I'm pretty sure those are updates more than add-ons since it sounds like everyone will get them whether they want them or not.

You could learn a thing or two, EA!!!!!

LuLz, of course this is free.. This isnt even DLC its just updates that unlock things.

I can 100% guarantee there will be real DLC that includes new areas of the map or heist's etc.  that will cost money.

Who's LuLz? OXM reported it as DLC so I'm more inclined to go with them. And I don't think any of that really relates to my information. Just passing on the news chap.
