FIFA 12 console patch in 2-3 weeks

EA will release a patch for the console versions of FIFA 12 in two to three weeks.

It will implement "big corrections", senior community manager Romily Broad revealed on the latest episode of the FIFA 12 podcast.

Sooner than that, EA will issue a fix for FIFA Ultimate Team, the add-on experience that's played on the internet and within the main game.

Are "big corrections" needed? I havent come across any problems.

Well, the custom audio option is broken again, this time not playing the entrance music - despite it being the same files that worked in FIFA 11 (eventually, after a patch)

Also playing UT completely breaks your career mode saves if you have a custom formation selected in career mode.

I was feeling like giving EA a chance after they changed their stupid policy towards parental consent, and also after seeing the changes to the stupid levels of pressure in FIFA 11.

I was wrong. EA are greedy, lazy idiots who do next to no QA testing at all.

That's how they manage to release the same bugs year after year.

My only hope is that in the process of fixing things that more things don't get screwed up...
