Favourite quotes from Skyrim

I just heard mine tonight "Hmph. What secrets could they have worth keeping from old Mora? Sounds like a bargain to me. Hermaeus Mora learns some fascinating new ways to skin a horker and you become the second most powerful Dragonborn that ever lived."  Neloth in the Dragonborn DLC. Haven't had such a good laugh in ages.

That's funny! I don't remember hearing that one.

I still get a laugh from the ones that don't end. "You'll be sorry you...." as the head goes rolling down the hill forever.

I'm really going to have to finish this game before I pick a favorite though. There are so many good lines and so many bad ones that it confuses me.

Serana on Winterhold... "When I was here it wasn't so... crumbly. This used to be a city."

-or-

I think I actually lol'd at this one, also Serana.

"Rocks and valleys, crevices and hiding places. This is the kind of place where hermits and fanatics dwell."

She says this often in Foresworn lands, in which case she is correct on both counts.

“Dragonborn, huh? Was it your ma or your pa that was the dragon?” - Hadvar

What is better? To be born good or to overcome your evil nature through great effort? - Paarthurnax

Almost forgot about M'aiq. Everything he says is pretty much gold.

"Nords are so serious about beards. So many beards. M’aiq thinks they wish they had glorious manes like Khajiit." - M’aiq the Liar

"Nords’ armor has lots of fur. This sometimes makes M’aiq nervous." - M’aiq The Liar

"M'aiq does not understand what is so impressive about shouting. M'aiq can shout whenever he wants." - M'aiq the Liar

It's from the quest 'The Gardener of Men' elderscrolls.wikia.com/.../The_Gardener_of_Men just after you return from the Apocrypha.

That's a good one too :)

I wish I had a good enough memory to remember all the lines that make me laugh in this game. I'm almost done with it so next playthrough I'm going to take notes. Last night diruing some intense fighting, I was asked to turn it down and would I ever be finished? Forgot my silent mode with headset while company was in the kitchen. I simply wondered why I would ever get "finished" with it.

Finished? I find it rather like staticy cat fur. You think it's gone and it comes back. It's early yet but the weather is nasty and I may just go curl up in my chair with game, books and cats and just wait it all out. There are advantages to being alone sometimes.

I always play with my cat sitting on her scratching pole next to my desk haha.
