Family members cant get money on their account

Hello

I still have the family pack, now that the points is converted to money I do not have the option to grant family members allowance and they cant get their own either. How do I fix this?

Same issue with me. There is no way to grant and there is no payment option when signed in as a family member.

Please advise us on this ASAP Microsoft.  My family would like to spend money.. but CANT thanks to this convoluted new system.

The Family Pack is no longer available.  As such, you are no longer able to give allowances to your family members.

The newly separated accounts still say they are unable to change billing settings and only primary member of the gold family pack can do so.

But that is also not possible.  Cannot allow them to add credit cards and also cannot transfer money to those accounts.   How do those accounts spend money?

add gift cards

and delete profile only and clear system cache and redownload the profile again

@ngocphi   no offense but are you serious?  They give the family members 3 free months of gold but they effectively can't use parts of it?

@airmattdog, the FAQ does not address the issue here. The post by Shirley Films above lays out the problem perfectly. There is no way to make purchase from one of these accounts.

Can someone from MSFT please assist with this?  Is this forum moderated my MSFT?  I have a family member wanting DLC and I have no current way to purchase it for them.  After several yrs. of paying for LIVE for 4 people in my house.. this is not a very good experience.
